Licky Lickerson

One of the great things about living in the San Francisco Bay Area is being so close to the water. And being a pet photographer I love taking photos of pets around the bay. Yesterday Logan and I took a stroll in Foster City next to the Bay and enjoyed the wonderful weather we have been having.

Logan loves to carry his leash and he dropped it just long enough to take a break and lick his nose. It is one of the moments that show how he got one of his many nicknames...Licky Lickerson....if you get close enough, you are guaranteed to get a kiss from him.

If you have a four legged best friend, call or email me to capture all those special moments that you'll look back on and enjoy.

Car Photography

For all of those people who say you can't take a picture that will come out decently while in the car, I present Mt. Shasta. I love taking pictures while traveling but sometimes those you travel with get tired of you stop every 10 feet to take a photo. Therefore, creativity kicks in.

I took this picture from our moving car with my little point and shoot camera. (I couldn't reach my regular camera.) I loved how clear it was and the mountain was just beautiful. Anyone who has driven by Mt. Shasta will know it is absolutely breathtaking, especially with all of the lush trees.

Well Logan and I are off to enjoy this amazing California weather, take a walk, and hopefully get some good shots to share with you tomorrow.

Starting a new adventure....blogging

This is a new adventure...blogging about my photography. I've always just made the photos but never really talked about them. So welcome to the first entry to my blog.

This photo is one with Montana and her puppy. I love the pure joy on both of their faces. He definitely loved kisses and running at Fort Funston Beach.

If you have a dog that behaves well off leash, I high suggest heading to Fort Funston and hanging out with all the dogs that are there. Chasing sticks and running in the surf is so much fun...and your dog will love it too! :-) Plus you'll get the added benefit of a very tired puppy after the day is over.
